No visa is issued upon arrival in the country. In France, visa applications are made to the Consulate of the Republic of Congo and the following documents are required:
  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Full visa application form
  • A copy of the international vaccination card mentioning the mandatory vaccine against yellow fever
  • 2 recent passport photographs
  • An accommodation certificate or a hotel booking confirmation
The fees for a single-entry visa, in 2016, amount to € 62 with a duration of less than 15 days or € 117 for a multiple-entry visa valid for 90 days (subject to changes).

To ensure the best quality of service and limit significantly waiting time, it is best to report your needs to your airline or travel agent once you have booked your flight.
Note: It is most suggested to arrive at the airport 3 hrs before the flight to give you the best service possible.
Baggage Security
  • The passenger must be present when baggage is checked in. It is forbidden to check-in baggage on the traveler’s behalf.
  • To get to the boarding gate, you will go through a first checkpoint of the border police where you will be required to show your boarding pass as well as your valid passport.
  • Then, your baggage and personal belongings will be inspected with x-ray screening devices.
  • All prohibited items will be removed during security screenings and destroyed without compensation.
